Straightforward pricing, no packages
Book what you need, when you need it. Rates are per dog and exclude HST.
More than one dog?
- 20% off each additional dog on group park walks.
- 50% off each additional dog on private walks.
- No surcharge on concierge errands for dogs walking five or more days a week.
Discounts apply to a maximum of three dogs per household.

About
Who's walking your dog
Hi, I'm Luke. Most people who call me have already tried someone else — usually a company that sent a different stranger every visit, or a number that just rang out. I started Downtown Dogs because that felt like a low bar to clear.
So it stays deliberately small. A handful of walkers, all trained by me, and I'm still out on routes most days. You get the same walker every time, and you meet them before they ever have your keys.
When something goes wrong you get me, not a support address. And I would rather tell you your dog only needs two walks a week than sell you four.

What you can hold us to
Not a list of perks — a list of commitments. If we ever miss one of these, tell us and we won't charge you for that walk.

You always know who's coming
You'll never be surprised by an unfamiliar walker at your door. You meet whoever walks your dog before they ever walk your dog.

A photo and a note, every walk
Not a checkbox in an app. A real photo from that day's route, and a sentence about how your dog actually did — including the days it didn't go perfectly.

We'll turn down the wrong booking
If your dog isn't suited to a group walk, we'll say so and recommend a private one instead, even though it earns us less. Selling you the wrong service costs us a client eventually.

Your keys are handled properly
Labelled by code, never by address, stored securely, and returned the moment you ask. Lockbox and concierge pickup both work fine too.

Good to know
Do you walk dogs downtown?
Yes — it is where the name comes from. Downtown is a core part of our routes, not an exception we squeeze in. We cover the full Yonge corridor from the waterfront up to Yonge & Eglinton, including Forest Hill and Rosedale. Tell us your building and we will confirm who covers it.
Who will actually be walking my dog?
Luke, or one of the small handful of walkers he has trained himself. You are told who is assigned to your dog before you book, you meet them at the meet & greet, and it stays the same person — we do not rotate strangers through your home.
How do you handle keys and building access?
Whatever is easiest for you: a lockbox code, a concierge pickup, or a spare key handed over at the meet & greet. Keys are labelled by code rather than address, and returned whenever you ask.
What happens in bad weather?
Walks go ahead in rain and light snow — dogs still need to go out, and we towel off before we leave. In extreme heat, cold, or an ice storm we shorten the walk and check in with you directly.
Is my dog a good fit for a group walk?
Group walks suit sociable, well-recalled dogs who enjoy other dogs' company. If yours is reactive, nervous, elderly, or recovering from something, a private walk is the better call — and we'll say so rather than sell you the wrong thing.
How far ahead should I book?
A day or two is usually plenty. Around holidays and long weekends, earlier is much better — those fill up first.
What if I need to cancel?
No cancellation fees. Plans change, dogs get sick, and you shouldn't be charged for either — just let us know as early as you can.
How do I pay?
Cash or e-transfer at the end of each week, on an invoice that lists every walk. Whichever is easier for you — no deposits, no pre-paid packages, and no card kept on file.
